Services Online

Hello, the 123COM services are all back online, but we are keeping our main site showing the downtime page and the temporary support desk until the 8th of August. This is so we can iron out all issues with our services before opening them up to new customers again.

Please use the temporary support desk for your issues, rather than an email to your account manager.

Thank you.

Temporary Downtime

123COM Website Hosting is currently experiencing some issues with a few of our servers, which has lead to prolonged downtime of our services.

We are working on each offline sever individually, to bring them back up and online as soon as we can. Although we believe that we are going along the right lines to solve this issue, we will not know how well our patch will work until after the servers are put back online.

We predict that the servers should all be fully online within the next 48 hours, although this is not guaranteed. Your data is safe as of now, and is being migrated.

We appreciate your patience and co-operation throughout this process.

What happened?

123COM offer a package with our hosting, called RV Site Builder. RV Site Builder released an update to their software, which we installed onto the servers. When they were rebooted, RV Site Builder required huge amounts of RAM on bootup, which caused the server to crash and reboot - which caused the servers to be stuck in a reboot loop.

This has proven hard to repair, and technicians have been working on it since Saturday, and we decided to stop the repair and just migrate all accounts to fresh servers instead.

The migration has begun, and is in process - we predict some completion within 48 hours, but are making no promises, as a whole range of errors could occur during this migration, causing the whole process to take longer.

Who can I contact?

Well, if you are reading this page - the 123COM main site has been migrated to another host successfully (so we can provide you with this information), and therefore you can email your account manager, or mail@123com.co.uk. All emails should be successfully received.

Alternatively, you can go to our temporary support desk, and post a ticket there. http://123com.co.uk/support/.
